Sticky Situation
For those who won't settle
for second best!

Jana Sweets established Sticky Situation in 1985.
She achieved her BS in Agriculture with a major in Horticulture at the University of Arizona in 1982.
At an early age she realized that she had found her passion, and has now been enjoying it for 20 years in the nursery industry, specializing in the propagation of cacti and succulents native to regions around the world.
Sticky Situation originated as a wholesale grower and later evolved to include following the art and craft festival circuit to reach and educate the public directly, now selling both wholesale and retail.

Kim Joyiens, owner of Ironwood Cactus Nursery merged his business with Sticky Situation in the summer of 1999.
He initiated a career switch away from other interests and into the world of cactus and succulents in 1986 at a local cactus nursery in the hopes of some day fulfulling his dream of having his own nursery. In 1992 he realized this goal with the establishment of the Ironwood Cactus Nursery. He operated Ironwood successfully for seven years before merging with Sticky Situation.
